Brendan Hodgson is a Canadian singer-songwriter crafting modern country-rock music from the wilds of northern Ontario. The culmination of hard work, sweat, and heart, Brendan's debut album Coming Home offers an original mix of small town music perfect for cruising down the back roads or casting a line.
Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Brendan began performing around campfires at a young age. Early bar gigs with local country cover band Summer Thunder led to years of special events and festivals featuring Brendan's original music with backing band Adam Fahrer (lead guitar), Leah Hodgson (bass), and Len Legacy (drums). Brendan most recently opened solo for Jason Blaine, Michelle Wright, and Jamie Warren on their Stories and Songs northern Ontario tour.
With album number two in the works, expect to see new music and merch coming soon from Brendan's team. Stay tuned for performance updates on Brendan's Facebook page at facebook.com/brendanhodgsonmusic.

Brendan Hodgson debut album 'just kind of fell into place'
The Sault country artist celebrated the release of 'Coming Home' Thursday night at The Tech
Call it good timing or call it a shot in the dark. But local country musician Brendan Hodgson calls it Coming Home. The 27-year-old was happy to share the 11 tracks from his newly released CD with family, friends and fans Thursday night at The Tech.
However, recording an album was never really on his radar, he told SooToday prior to the celebratory performance, even though he’s been penning his own music for the better part of seven years.
